New study shows the importance of exercise and diet Signal

Although it is no secret that it is important to consume products with nutritional values and useful for your body, some people think that if they consume not very healthy foods, but perform physical activity, their health is not in danger.

What did the new study show?

A new study has shown that regular consumption of unhealthy foods can increase the risk of fatal diseases regardless of whether you exercise or not.

In the study conducted by the University of Sydney in Australia, the health data of the study participants were analyzed.

They first determined who was following a high-quality diet and who was not.

A high-quality diet was defined as one that included at least four and a half cups of fruit or vegetables per day and at least two servings of fish per week.

It also included no more than two servings of processed meat per week and less than five servings of red meat in the same time period.

On the other hand, a low-quality diet did not adhere to these parameters and instead contained more red meat, processed foods, and not enough fruits, vegetables or fish.

After analyzing the data, the researchers found that a healthy regimen and physical activity reduced the risk of fatal diseases by 17 percent, while a low-quality regimen increased the risk of premature death.

Additionally, those who followed an unhealthy eating regimen also had a 19% greater risk of developing cardiovascular disease and a 27% higher risk of cancer.

So the researchers’ conclusion is that it’s not worth exercising if you don’t eat healthy.

Nutrition and physical activity are part of a healthy lifestyle, to which you should give maximum importance.
