75-year-old and in great shape, how Arnold Schwarzenegger changed his fitness routineSignal

Austrian legend Arnold Schwarzenegger has so far shared on social networks and interviews, a series of special exercises for strong muscles that hurt, burn and tire you.

But now he is 75 years old and has changed the way he thinks and trains, as he said after a question from a fan. Physically and mentally, his training has gone to another level and as he says: Physically you just have to accept reality and do the best you can.

“Physically you just have to accept reality and do the best you can. It is not always easy to accept that you are no longer who you were. Over 2,000 Americans over the age of 65 suffer from depression. I believe it has to do with hormonal changes that relax the muscles over time.” Schawrzenegger said.

At the same time, he has some practical advice on how to exercise safely and without injury as you get older. “I adapt to my age, I change the exercises to avoid injuries mainly. That’s why I left weights and focused on machines”.

However, he continues to work out every day because it makes him happy, even if his workouts are nothing like what he did when he was younger.

He starts the day by going to the gym and although his body doesn’t react the same way it did 50 years ago, it has huge health benefits.

The Austrian legend previously revealed what has been driving him crazy in recent years: “It drives me crazy when I see guys who think they’re lifting a lot of weight, doing a… half rep. I was and am a fanatic about doing something right. Otherwise there is no point, you are deceiving yourself and you never see any significant results”.
